The basic game remains the same in Monopoly Live. The host, in this version Mr Monopoly, spins the super-sized wheel and you (the players) have to predict the segment the wheel it is going to stop at after the spin.
The wheel is divided into 54 equal segments separated by pins, out of which 48 are marked with a number starting from 1 and going up to 48. The other six segments include two ‘Chance’ segments, three ‘2 Rolls’ segments and one ‘4 Rolls’ segment.
You have to simply choose a segment you think the wheel will stop at and bet on that guess. When the wheel stops spinning, if it stops at a numbered segment you had placed your bet on, you win. Simple!
However, there is one little twist and this is where things start to spice up!
If the wheel stops at one of the two ‘Chance’ segments, you get a Chance card from Mr Monopoly. The card has either a random cash prize or a Multiplier bonus. In case it is a cash prize you win the cash amount given on the card. However, if the card says Multiplier bonus, then the host spins the wheel again. When the wheel stops, the winnings get multiplied. If the second spin also stops on a Multiplier, the Multiplier gets multiplied. Confused? Let’s understand it with an example! Say, you bet $300 on the segment 8 and got a Chance card with a 5x Multiplier. Then you win $4,000, that is $300 x 5 x 8. If the second spin results result in a Bonus game, you only win if you had placed your bet on either the ‘2 Rolls’ or the ‘4 Rolls’ segments.
Long story short, just remember that the ‘Chance’ segment results in a cash prize or a multiplier bonus while the ‘2 Rolls’ and ‘4 Rolls’ segments activate the Bonus game. What is the Bonus game now, you ask? The most interesting segment of this game, which will probably revolutionise live casino.
